DescriptionProgramme for the American Women's Hospital Reserve Corps held in the Southold High School Auditorium at Southold, New York. Includes works by various composers performed by Britten (piano) and Pears. British Folk Songs include The Ash Grove, The Twelve Days of Christmas, [The bonny] Earl O'Moray and The Crocodile [first performance]. Britten also played two piano solos (Beehoven Sonata in F, Op. 10, No. 2) and Chopin Scherzo in B Flat Minor). There are also two draft programmes attached, the second of which has a handwritten note from Pears about revising the concert programme.
